Does my
business need a web site?

How does
one go about setting one up?

What are
the costs involved?
If your
target market is essentially local then chances are you DON'T
need a web site although in some instances it may be
beneficial. However if your business trades nationally or
even internationally - a web site is a MUST.
Setting up
a web site is a relatively simple procedure that can be done
in a few days. Like all other advertising material you put
out there, it should be an extension of your marketing
strategy. Your web site should represent your business in the
way it looks and functions. Browsing it should be something
your clients will enjoy doing. For this I need your input in
terms of identifying your clients and getting a clear
understanding of your products and services. Good photographs
are vital.
Domain
registration costs R150 once off and R50 per annum to renew.
Hosting costs R100 per month. SCN charges R300 per page for
design and R100 per hour for updates and alterations. |
